Yeah, they say Brittany has a 0.0 GPA, can’t understand basic things about biology, perpetually regress her neurological capabilities from season one (where she was mean, popular, maybe a little less smart than average - but not displaying signs of a clear disability), and it’s all just a ~joke! They also hand her some of the most offensive and horrid lines because she’s Brittany, and she “doesn’t understand what she’s saying.” The blatant exploitation of her disability and refusal to treat what they’ve constructed for her character seriously are despicable.
Glee can’t have it both ways. Brittany can’t be constantly ridiculed and manipulated for the way she cognitively functions and also have almost no one take it seriously and try to help her with her disability. It’s cruel, and Glee just thinks that counterbalancing it with making her ~super popular will minimize the importance of her disability. I’m sick of Brittany’s screentime revolving around Santana, irritating/non-funny/often perpetuating some ism/ one liners. The show also conflates Brittany’s (not acknowledged) cognitive disabilities with the idea that they’re not responsible for decently exploring her sexuality.

Please stop calling Brittany Pierce gay.
She’s not gay.
She’s probably pansexual or bisexual, but the main thing is her sexuality is fluid, she’s attracted to both guys and girls, romantically and sexually.
She’s not gay.

You know that picture of that was floating around? Well obviously, my eyes immediately went to the Brinn, so here’s a 100 x 100 icon for any of the lovely shippers who would like to make use of it. And now I want to write fanfiction about them going square dancing or playing the completely historically accurate cowboys and Indians with their children…
I wish we could gather all of the Finn/Brittany shippers and decide on a ship name that isn’t Fritters. Because, while it’s cute, I’d rather not deal with food in our tag, and it’s also a little hard for some people to understand where the name comes from. How about Brinn? It sounds nice, isn’t food, and it’s an obvious portmanteau.
The “er” comes from people calling her “Britters”, and the “F” comes from “Finn”. It rolls of the tongue better than “Frittany”. Some people actually also call them “Brinn” and “Fittany”. (I was once told that “Fitta” means an offensive thing in another culture, though, so yeah, that ship name isn’t the best to use.)

My love for Chazzam seems to increase as time goes on.
Are actual food way too often.

Pic 3 of these to describe yourself:
- A nerd like Sam (sci-fi is my speciality, actually. Qapla’!)
- Insecure like Quinn (about different things, but still insecure)
- Motivated like Rachel (to become a translator)
*sigh* Emma’s is “afraid of change” and Jesse St. James’ is “conceited”. Favoritism at its best. Also Artie’s should say “forgiving”, but “racially confused” is a nice joke or whatever, I suppose.
ETA: Santana’s should say, “loving”, but strong, I’m not so sure. She has the potential to show that, but everything she’s done so far has shown her deflecting and needing to mature. She’s manipulated or tried to manipulate Brittany multiple times because she’s “in love with” her, and that is not an example of someone being strong.
There should also be an “athletic like Lauren Zizes”
