sometimes my parents are alarmed by some of the views I have

and then I kind of spread them to my siblings

so they (parents) kind of sit uncomfortably when my siblings and I talk about racism and whiteness and sexism and LGBT+ stuff and capitalism and socialism

also my dad thinks that America is the only country in which ~liberal~ views can be expressed safely
