I think she’s pansexual to be completely honest. She has never really cared about sexuality; more about feelings.
I get that vibe too, but considering she’s never been around a transgender person, and a big part of pansexuality is being attracted to transgender people and genderfluid people, I’m not completely comfortable with calling her that. I wish the writers would take her sexuality seriously. If Brittany was actually taken seriously from an early point, her sexuality would have been very important. She represents the B+ in LGB+, the bisexuals and pansexuals who aren’t taken as seriously, and it’s just such a shame that she wasn’t used for that. I have friends who are perfectly accepting of gay people, but think that bisexuals are just confused and that you have to choose one or the other, and it makes me so sad that when I try to begin to explain to them how ignorant they are, they just laugh. People don’t understand, and it’s really sad.
